The Ramey Family together with St. Innocent Winery own and operate Zenith Vineyard.  We purchased the property in 2002 from Pat O’Connor, the founder of O’Connor Vineyards, as it was then known.  We owe a great debt of gratitude to Pat (and Patti who sadly passed away in 2002, before we could meet).  The O’Connor family acted as great stewards of the land and we strive to continue as greatful caretakers of this beautiful place. 

Tim, by day, a securities analyst covering the food and beverage sector, manages the vineyard with help from our farm manager Pedro Martinez who has been with the vineyard for 15 years.  We are proud to be entrusted with such a lovely part of the earth and pledge to think of the long-term benefit of the land in everything we do.  We have planted 45 acres since we purchased the vineyard and our goal is to help the vineyard achieve great balance, to provide “beautiful origins” for the fruit that becomes Zenith, St. Innocent and other great wines. 

Kari manages the wedding and events business and was the interior designer of Zenith Vineyard events facility.  She is the keeper of the esthetic standard and does most of the client contact. 

Miranda, age 13, is in 8th grade at Walker Middle School and is a competitive show jumper.  Her team won 2nd at Pony Club nationals and she is jumping one-meter and winning ribbons too numerous to mention.  She takes care of the horses, Oliver, A.K.A "Aviator," Razzle and Aiden, the dogs and the chickens. 

Gwen graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of San Diego in 2009, studying Business and Finance, and works at CIM Group, a large commercial real estate developer and investor in Los Angeles. 

Charlotte was married at the vineyard to Caleb Whitmore in August, 2007 and they welcomed daugher EthnieMay Joy Whitmore, to the world on June 22, 2008 and brother Zebaniah Scott exactly a year later on June 22, 2009.  They live in Seattle, Charlotte is a registered nurse while Caleb is a master of website search and design (and had everything to do with this great website). 

We strive for excellence in the vineyard and while that goal is elusive we are blessed with a wonderful site, the perfect climate for Pinot noir and willing and able bodies to help make it all happen.   Cheers!
