Harvest Wine Club Event Saturday September 13th

Pedro Martinez - El Jefe!

Join your wine club friends and Zenith’s owners to experience a real harvest morning!

We'll take a walk through the vineyard, taste the grapes off the vines, and talk through our farming and picking practices. Owner, Tim Ramey, will show you how we know when it's the right time to pick and explain how we choose to harvest all of our fruit at Zenith Vineyard. We should be harvesting on that date and you’ll see the crew in action; perhaps you will pick a bucket or two!  We take great care in harvest and enormous pride in our incredible pickers (we bet you can't carry four 20 lb. buckets down a row as they do). There will be many photo opportunities in the vines, the crew, and the beautiful fruit.

Next, we'll head to  the sorting line where you'll see how we process fruit from the bins to the destemmer or the press. You'll want to wear your farm clothes - it's fun, but oh so sticky.

Finally, we'll talk through the beginning processes of fermentation and how each varietal has its own path to becoming wine. Brunch with bubbles to follow our hard work.
